Workera now supports AI-powered language translations! Once enabled for your organization, users can choose a supported language from their account and use Workera in that language.
This feature is designed to broaden accessibility quickly, similar to how browsers translate web pages, so your global workforce can engage with Workera in their preferred language.

Available Languages
The following languages are currently supported:
- French
- Italian
- Portuguese (Brazil)
- Spanish (Mexico)
- Spanish (Spain)
Note: AI Language Translations are generated by AI and are designed to support usability and comprehension. They are not human-reviewed, certified, or intended to replace formal localization. English remains the source of truth.
How Users Experience AI Language Translations
When a supported language is enabled for your organization, users can use Workera in their selected language across the main platform experience, including onboarding experience assessment questions, feedback, UI labels, and navigation.
Here's how it works for them:
- The language selector is located in the bottom left of the screen and is easy to find and change at any time.
- Each user's language preference is saved automatically, stored in their browser and restored on every return visit, including the login page.
- Users whose browser is set to a supported non-English language will see that language by default on their first login.
- Users can switch back to English at any point - there are no restrictions on toggling.
Scoring and benchmark results are not affected by the selected language. All assessment scoring is anchored to the English source content. Translations do not create a separate scoring model for each language. For translated signature capabilities, benchmarks are reported against the English-source benchmark cohort.
How Users Switch Their Language
Once a language is enabled for your organization, leaders and participants can select it from their account settings:
- Click their name in the lower left corner of the platform.

Click the existing Language selector from the menu. By default this will be set to English.

Choose a preferred language and click Save

The interface will update instantly.
What Gets Translated
When AI Language Translations are enabled, changes are applied to most areas of the platform, both within the admin interface and participant interface.
Included
- Participant experience - onboarding, assessments, pre- and post-assessment screens, email communications.
- Skills profile, programs, AI mentor experience, and Skill Checks
- All live signature capabilities
- Voice and audio assessment items for Workera-supported languages, where voice mode is enabled.
- Admin experience (excluding content authoring)
Not currently included:
- Content authoring (Compose) - content creation remains English-only.
- Learning content from Third-party providers - for content providers (Coursera, Udemy, Udacity, LinkedIn Learning etc.) translation availability depends on what each provider permits. For providers that supply content in multiple languages, Workera ingests those versions. For providers that only supply English content, it remains in English.
- Customer support and scoring appeals — support interactions and scoring appeals are processed in English.
- Help center content - Workera's help center remains in English at this time.

AI Language Translations are generated by AI and are intended to support usability and comprehension across the platform. They are not manual translations, certified translations, or full localization.
English remains the source of truth. If something appears unclear in translation, users should contact Workera Support for help.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do AI Language Translations work with scoring?
All scoring remains anchored to the English source content. Translations do not create a separate scoring model for each language.
For translated signature capabilities, benchmarks are reported against the English-source benchmark cohort. Workera does not generate separate benchmark distributions by language. The signature capabilities remains one shared instrument.
How do AI Language Translations work with Voice Mode?
Voice features and AI Language Translations work together for languages where both are enabled. At the moment, this includes English, French, Spanish and Italian.
When enabled, assessment question narration is read in the participant’s selected language using a language-specific voice. For short-answer voice input, Workera recognizes the participant’s selected language and transcribes the response accordingly. The response then follows Workera’s standard scoring path, with scoring anchored to the English source.
Can participants switch back to English?
Yes. Participants can switch back to English at any time from the language selector.
This option is intentionally easy to access so participants can return to English if they prefer or if translated content is unclear.
How can admins enable AI Language Translations?
To enable AI Language Translations for your organization, contact your Workera representative or Workera Support.
Please include the language or languages you would like to enable. Once a language is enabled for your organization, users can select it from the language menu in Workera.
Can I create assessments in other languages?
Not at this time. All content authoring remains in English.
What about third-party learning content?
It depends on the provider. Where a provider supplies content in one of the Workera-supported languages, Workera will serve it in those languages. Where only English is available from the provider, the content stays in English. Workera does not translate third-party content without provider permission.

What should users do if something looks unclear?
AI Language Translations are designed to support usability and comprehension, but they may not always be perfect. English remains the source of truth.
If a translation appears unclear or incorrect, users should contact Workera Support so the issue can be reviewed.
